The answer will not surprise you, we are talking about pepper spray - the so-called kaser.
The kaser, which uses a paralyzing gas, represents active self-defense for everyone. Whether you are attacked by an assailant or an aggressive animal, pepper spray will protect you from them without you having to kill or injure the aggressor. Such a “weapon” is freely sold, so you can carry it with you anywhere and need not be afraid to use it.
It works simply. When you are in danger, you spray the pepper spray into the attacker's face. Upon contact, the contents of the kaser attack the CS nerve endings, forcing the aggressor to close their eyes (it can even have a blinding effect), preventing coordinated movement, and causing an unpleasant burning sensation. These effects disappear without lasting consequences after approximately 20 to 40 minutes. This gives you enough time to escape.
If you are in a dark, isolated place, take the spray out of your handbag and keep it in your hand just in case, with your finger on the trigger. Attacks happen very quickly and usually without warning. If you do not have the pepper spray in hand, you may not have time to use it.
