Camouflage, its use, from the first use of camouflage until today

The Americans very quickly followed the British, but the Germans, Russians and Italians joined the new idea right away as well. Later, all these states created a sort of corps, where artists worked on the camouflage project and created camouflage patterns, which were gradually improved and some are still used today. For example, in America they created the so-called leaf pattern camouflage, which was used in 1967 in Vietnam, from which in 1981 the now well-known woodland pattern was created. Of course, the improvement of uniforms also took place in Europe, where some camouflage patterns are still used today, e.g. tiger stripes.

The Woodland camouflage has several variations, this is one of them, the others are almost indistinguishable from it. They differ only in the size of the spots and coloring (sometimes more saturated colors, sometimes paler colors).

Currently, the most used and widespread patterns are the American woodland and the British DPM, which can be found, whether as copies or various variants of camouflage, all over the world. Several states also began to focus on camouflage and camouflage patterns, creating their own patterns, such as the German flecktarn. But nowadays, camouflages of the so-called pixelated patterns such as CADPAT, MARPAT or UCP are becoming modern.

Last but not least, let us also mention that camouflage patterns have become very popular in today's modern era and fashion. You have certainly noticed somewhere around you that camouflage jeans, shorts, trousers or t-shirts have started to be worn more. It is also modern, and if you know how to match it with other pieces of clothing, it is also stylish and affordable. You can find more camouflage patterns in the e-shop itself or in the article about camouflage patterns.
