The M65 Covert is the classic M65 silhouette in a modern, low-profile edition.
Helikon-Tex designed the M65 Covert with operators, instructors and officers working in a civilian environment in mind.
The jacket puts the emphasis on a low profile and on solutions matched to present-day needs. Without giving up the features known from tactical clothing.
The main material is exceptionally durable DuraCanvas
It is an in-house fabric, developed by Helikon-Tex's technologists for demanding applications. It stands out for its high resistance to abrasion, tearing and contact with sparks, which matters a great deal in hard conditions.
The material is prepared for wax impregnation, so you can increase the garment's resistance to rain, snow and dirt yourself.
VersaStretch inserts in sensitive zones
The hood and the reinforcements on the shoulders and elbows are made of the elastic VersaStretch material, which stretches in four directions. The jacket stays in place and does not restrict the body's natural work.
The outer layer is protected by a DWR water-repellent finish
Durable Water Repellency increases resistance to dirt, limits soaking of the material and slows the penetration of moisture. Thanks to this the product is simpler to care for and keeps its properties longer.
Helikon-Tex designed the M65 Covert with concealed carry of tactical EDC in mind.
An experienced team of experts gave the jacket as many as eleven functional pockets, designed in a way that does not reveal their purpose.
External pockets
The front pockets build on the layout of the classic M65. Two chest pockets with Canadian buttons and two lower ones with a single closure offer function while keeping the jacket's low-profile silhouette.
Rear pockets
Two pockets in the lower back close with hook-and-loop, and in them you carry extra gear in a way that is not visible from the front.
A pocket by the main zipper
It closes with a zipper and sits next to the main zipper. It allows fast access to small items.
Internal pockets
The internal pockets close with a zipper and have slots in which you can carry an extra magazine.
A zippered chest pocket
Placed on the inside of the jacket, it gives fast, discreet access to documents or a phone.
A mini waist pack in the pocket
It is integrated with the chest pocket. Inside it has extra small pockets. You can also wear it separately, for example under clothing, for discreet carry of the most important things.
Helikon-Tex built the features of the M65 Covert on many years of experience in making tactical clothing.
A hood stowed in the collar
The integrated hood, stowed in the characteristic collar, stays invisible when you do not need it. When needed it gives extra protection from wind and cold.
A zipper with a placket and buttons
The one-way YKK® zipper covered by a placket with Canadian buttons limits draughts and heat loss. The elastic mounting of the buttons increases their durability and resistance to damage.
Adjustable cuffs
Cuffs adjusted with Canadian buttons let you fit the sleeves to wrists or gloves, improving thermoregulation and comfort in wear.
