Expedition-grade three-person tent with premium materials and a Black Coating treatment on the inside of the flysheet – combining maximum durability with a darker interior for better sleep even on light summer mornings. Husky Bird 3 Plus Black Coating is a premium version with upgraded specifications, intended for expedition hiking, mountaineering and demanding summer conditions with long daylight hours.
Construction and geometry
A freestanding double-wall tent with polyamide poles that keep it stable even in wind. Outer flysheet plus an inner tent body – the separate construction allows better air circulation and minimises condensation inside. A vestibule provides space for packs and cooking in bad weather.
Waterproofing and materials
Polyester flysheet with PU coating, waterproof rating of 5,000 mm water column, taped seams. Floor from robust nylon fabric with a waterproof rating of 10,000 mm. Black Coating is a dark inner treatment of the flysheet that blocks light – the inside of the tent stays pleasantly dark even when the sun rises at 5 a.m. The Plus version has more durable materials and a higher 10,000 mm floor waterproof rating for wet ground and extreme conditions.
