Three-person trekking tent focused on interior volume – an alternative to Bird 3 with a different geometry offering more height in the central section. Husky Bizon 3 Classic is the classic version of this proven model, intended for hiking, trekking and group trips.

Construction and geometry

Free-standing double-wall tent with polyamide poles providing stability even in windy conditions. Outer flysheet + inner tent body – the separated construction allows better air circulation and minimises condensation inside. A vestibule provides space for storing backpacks and cooking in bad weather.

Wasserdichting and materials

Flysheet made of polyester with PU coating, water column rating 3,000 mm, taped seams. Floor made of durable nylon fabric with a water column rating of 6,000 mm. The Classic version offers reliable protection for standard hiking conditions. Bizon has a dome-shaped geometry with more central space – more comfortable seating inside than Bird.

Advantages and disadvantages of Husky Bizon 3 Classic

✓ Advantages: more interior height in the centre of the tent (more comfortable seating and dressing), room for 3 people or a couple with gear, free-standing construction, roomy vestibule.

✗ Disadvantages: the dome geometry is slightly less aerodynamic than Bird (lower wind resistance), 6,000 mm floor water column suits standard conditions, higher price than two-person tents.

Comparison with related models

Husky Bird 3 Classic has a more aerodynamic geometry – better in wind but with less central headroom. Husky Bizon 4 Classic is a larger four-person option. Bizon 3 is the better choice for interior comfort, Bird 3 for wind resistance.
