A storm often comes unexpectedly and can catch a person almost anywhere. It is ideal when it catches you at home, as it usually poses no risk then. However, it is different when a storm catches you in the forest, in an open area, or while hiking. Such a situation can be life-threatening, and almost every summer a human life is lost as a result of a lightning strike. What should you do, or rather not do, when a storm catches you outdoors?
