Sno-Seal® DWR treatment based on beeswax creates a strong wax film on the leather surface when dry, which ensures water-repellency and prevents the leather from becoming saturated. Sno-Seal® protects leather from excessive drying and keeps it supple and firm even in the driest desert climates. Tanners remove all animal fats from leather and replace them with synthetic hydrophobic treatment during outdoor leather processing. We can guarantee that Sno-Seal® does not interfere with hydrophobic treatment. Even footwear with membrane linings (Gore-TEX®, Sympatex®, ...) performs better when treated with the Sno-Seal® system. Whilst the membrane in the lining will retain water penetrating from outside, even if the boot is untreated, water-saturated untreated leather will completely prevent the boot from breathing. Your feet will sweat and you will become cold. Treating your footwear with the Sno-Seal® system means your feet will always stay dry and warm.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

Apply to clean dry leather in the quantity that the leather can absorb. Application is easier at higher temperatures (<50 °C). Use a cloth to rub the cream into a thin layer. Once dry, it can be polished with a brush.
WARNING: Sno-Seal® changes the colour of nubuck and suede (darkens) and suppresses the original matt appearance.
