The Grik knife was designed by American knifemaker Andrew Demko, with whom Cold Steel has collaborated for many years. It is designed as a highly functional working knife for everyday carry. The blade is made from Japanese AUS 8A steel. This stainless steel has excellent strength properties and is used primarily as a material for cutting tools. The steel was subsequently heat-treated for the perfect balance between blade retention and easy sharpening. The Tri-Ad Lock™ system prevents accidental or unintentional closure of the knife, even after natural wear over time.
