When you wear a tactical helmet, earmuffs with a headband simply do not fit over it. The Earmor M32H PLUS mount directly on the side ARC rails of FAST MT and similar helmets. This is electronic hearing protection with a microphone: it limits gunshot noise to a safe 82 dB, amplifies quiet ambient sounds and connects to a radio via a cable with a NATO connector. The 2024 model features new silicone gel ear cushions that are more comfortable for extended wear.
Radio connection
The cable ends in a connector to the NATO military standard. The hearing protection connects to a radio via an optional PTT module, which is not included; according to the manufacturer, it works with Earmor PTT modules. It suits both right- and left-handed users.
Protection and situational awareness
Two well-protected directional microphones on the ear cups let you pinpoint where a sound is coming from. Dynamic voice tracking improves speech clarity, and the enhanced resistance to radio interference matters when working with a radio. The low-profile ear cups stay out of the way when you shoulder your firearm. The battery compartment is waterproof, with a metal cover and silicone straps, and the button is protected against accidental shut-off. After 4 hours without use, the unit switches off automatically.
