Fenix CL20R is a practical rechargeable portable lantern that you can use to light a room, tent or work table. Sixteen high-brightness LEDs hidden beneath a hemispherical diffuser provide a light output of up to 300 lumens (ANSI) with a neutral white light tone. The advantage of this light tone is more natural and contrasting colour reproduction in nature. Power is supplied by a built-in lithium-polymer rechargeable battery, which charges via a micro-USB connector. The lantern offers six lighting modes in total, including red light, which does not disrupt eye adaptation to darkness. The lantern is also equipped with a runtime extension function. During extended use in turbo (300 lumens), high (130 lumens) and medium (40 lumens) modes, the lantern gradually reduces power in small steps to achieve longer runtime. Thanks to its durable and impact-resistant construction with IP66 rating, the light can be safely used in adverse weather (heavy rain). The bottom of the lantern is fitted with a suspension loop and a strong neodymium magnet, so it can be easily hung or attached to anything made of iron. Thanks to its compact dimensions and weight of 91 grammes including the battery, the lantern is particularly suitable for hiking.

All torch parameters (light output, runtime on battery, water resistance, beam distance and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Using the Fenix CL20R light

• To turn on or off, hold the side button pressed for 1 second.
• Four power levels are switched by pressing the button; red light is activated by double-pressing the button quickly.
• To activate red flashing, first turn on the red light and then press the button once more.
• Charging - flip off the rubber cover of the micro USB connector on the side of the lamp and connect it to a computer, mains USB adapter or car USB adapter using the supplied USB cable. You can also use any mobile phone charger with a micro USB connector for charging. During charging, the side button lights red and turns green when fully charged. After charging, seal the charging connector again carefully with the rubber cover. Charging a fully discharged battery takes approximately 1.6 hours. In an emergency, the lamp can be used while charging, but only 1 lumen and 40 lumen modes will be available.
  • Battery charge status indicator - after a short press of the button (the lantern must be off), the LED indicator in the button activates for 3 seconds. If the indicator LED lights green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it lights red, it is charged to 20-50%. Red flashing indicates that less than 20% battery capacity remains.

Do not disassemble sealed parts yourself, as this will void the warranty. If the lantern is flashing, not switching to higher power modes or not lighting up, it may be due to one of the following reasons: The battery is discharged – charge it.
