Rechargeable torch Fenix E35R offers light output up to 3100 lumens (ANSI) and beam distance up to 260 metres. Excellent performance has been achieved using the modern LED Luminus SST-70. Power is supplied by a high-capacity Li-ion rechargeable battery type 21700 with capacity 5000 mAh. Charging takes place via USB-C connector on the side of the torch. The E35R replaces the popular E35 V3.0 torch, but in addition has a built-in charging connector and magnetic tail cap. The torch has been designed with regard to simplicity of operation and broad usability. Six light functions allow you to choose between high power and runtime of more than two and a half days. A blinding strobe is also available for emergency situations. The Fenix E35R is powered by digitally regulated constant current to ensure constant light output even as battery voltage decreases (during gradual discharge). The torch is equipped with an ultra-thin collimator, which is manufactured using technologies from the automotive industry. Switching on and changing modes is performed by a button ergonomically positioned on the side. Practical is the magnet in the tail cap; the torch can be attached to ferrous objects.

Use of work torch Fenix E35R

From the factory there may be an insulating cover inside the torch on the rechargeable battery. Before first use, remove it from the battery.

To switch on or off hold the side button for approximately 0.5 seconds; the torch will always switch on to the last selected mode except for the two highest (turbo and high). You can switch power modes at any time during operation by pressing the side button. The strobe can be activated by holding the button for 1.2 seconds (the torch must be on). When you release the button, the strobe switches off.

Charging - flip open the rubber cover of the charging connector on the side of the torch and connect the included cable (USB-C connector); connect the other end of the cable to a computer, or USB mains adapter or car adapter. During charging the indicator LED glows red. When fully charged it glows green. Charging a fully discharged battery takes approximately 3 hours (with 2A power supply). During charging you can use the 30, 150 and 350 lumen modes.

Intelligent overheat protection - If the temperature exceeds 60°C, the power will automatically reduce. As soon as the temperature drops below 60°C, you can use maximum power again.

Battery charge status indicator - after a short press of the button (the torch must be off) the LED indicator in the button activates. If the indicator diode glows green the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it glows red, it is charged to 25-50%. Red flashing indicates that less than 25% battery capacity remains.

Button lock - if you want to prevent accidental switching on of the torch in luggage, press the button twice quickly within 0.5 seconds (the torch must be off); the torch will then flash twice in low mode and cannot be switched on. Unlock by pressing the button twice quickly again. Accidental switching on can also be prevented by loosening the torch body.

Low battery warning - the side button will start flashing red and the torch will gradually automatically switch to the lowest mode.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed part in the torch head yourself, as this will void the warranty.
• Use only quality Li-ion rechargeable batteries 21700 to prevent damage to the torch, for example due to leakage from the battery.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules the torch will be properly protected against water.
• If the torch flashes, does not switch to higher power, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  • The rechargeable battery is discharged, charge it.
  • Contacts inside the torch are dirty – clean them with cotton wool soaked in alcohol.
  • The torch body is loose, tighten it.
