Fenix HM60R V2.0 is a high-performance rechargeable headlamp that in the main reflector offers a lumen output of up to 1600 lumens with a range of 170 meters. The secondary reflector with a power of up to 350 lumens has a very wide and smooth light pattern with a neutral light tint with a high color rendering index CRI >90 (Color Rendering Index). The reflectors are switched with an innovative sliding selector on the top of the headlamp with the option to lock it. The headlamp also features a red light with an output of up to 20 lumens. The package also includes a rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh, which charges directly in the headlamp via a USB-C connector. Given its equipment, it is suitable for professional use, various sports activities (hiking, camping, running, cycling, skiing...), underground use, for anglers and other uses. It will surely serve you well in any situation! The all-metal construction ensures high durability, optimal cooling and at the same time is fully waterproof according to the IP68 standard up to a depth of 2 meters underwater.
All lamp parameters (lumen output, runtime on battery, waterproofing, beam distance and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.
Specifications of the rechargeable Fenix HM60R V2.0 headlamp
- It uses a powerful Luminus SST-40 G2 LED, Luminus SST-20 G2 LED with high CRI and a neutral tint of white light and an auxiliary red OSRAM 2835 LED with a lifespan of 50000 hours.
- Long-range reflector: 1600 lumens (3.25 hours) -> 600 lumens (5 hours) -> 130 lumens (25 hours) -> 30 lumens (74.5 hours).

- For easy attachment to a helmet you can purchase the Fenix ALG-03, ALG-04 mount.
Usage
There may be an insulating cover on the battery inside the lamp from the factory. Before first use remove it from the battery.
Turning on/off and switching modes - If the headlamp is unlocked and off, white light is turned on by holding the switch for 0.5 seconds, red light is turned on by double-quick pressing the switch. The output modes of the turned-on light are then cycled by a short press of the switch. The light is turned off again by holding the switch for 0.5 seconds or by locking with the sliding switch.
Switching between long-range and wide reflector and locking - By sliding the top mode switch you can cycle between Lock ⇋ Long-range reflector ⇋ Wide reflector. When the headlamp is locked, sliding the mode switch to the position of the long-range or wide reflector will also turn it on.
Memory of the last set output mode - The headlamp has memory and will turn on in the last set output mode of the respective reflector, except for the highest long-range mode (it will always turn on in the high mode) and red light modes.
Battery replacement - Unscrew the battery cap of the headlamp and insert the battery in accordance with the marked polarity. Then screw the cap back on tightly.
Charging - Unscrew the dustproof cover, plug the USB-C charging cable into the headlamp's charging port and the other end into a computer USB port, a USB wall adapter or a car USB adapter. After charging is complete, tighten the dustproof cover back. During charging the indicator lights red. When fully charged it lights green. Typical charging time is 2.5 hours with a 5 V/2 A USB source for a fully depleted headlamp. The headlamp can be used during charging, but charging time will be extended and available output modes depend on the current battery charge level. Fenix 18650 batteries can be charged.
Battery charge indicator - At each switch on, or after pressing the button when the headlamp is off, the indicator LED activates for three seconds. If the indicator diode lights green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it lights red, it is charged to 20-50%. Red flashing indicates less than 20% battery capacity remaining. Works only with rechargeable Fenix 18650 batteries.
Intelligent overheating protection - During prolonged use of the headlamp at high output modes a large amount of heat accumulates. When the headlamp reaches a temperature of 55 °C or higher, it automatically reduces output by several lumens to lower the temperature. When the temperature falls below 55 °C, the output gradually increases again.
Low battery warning - If the battery voltage falls below the set level, the headlamp will reduce brightness to a lower level. After reaching the lowest output the battery charge indicator will start flashing red to remind you to recharge or replace the battery. Works only with rechargeable Fenix 18650 batteries.
Warning
- Do not disassemble sealed parts yourself, this will void the warranty.
- If using disposable CR123A batteries do not attempt to charge them in the headlamp.
- Remove batteries from the lamp if you will not use it for a long time or if the batteries are already depleted. Otherwise some lower-quality batteries may damage the headlamp.
- If the headlamp flashes, does not switch to higher output modes, or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:
- Batteries are nearly depleted – charge or replace them.
- The headlamp cap is loose – tighten it.
- Electrical contacts are dirty – clean them with a cotton swab soaked in alcohol.
Warranty
Five-year warranty on the headlamp, two years on the battery.
