Rechargeable tactical torch Fenix PD36R PRO offers top-tier light output of up to 2800 lumens (ANSI) and a beam distance of 380 metres. The torch is powered by a single Li-ion rechargeable battery type 21700 (included in the packaging), which charges directly in the torch via a modern USB-C connector and delivers power for up to 42 hours of operation. The Fenix PD36R PRO LED torch uses a dual tactical switch, which enables faster and more reliable control in emergency situations. For example, you can quickly activate it directly into strobe mode with variable frequency. The torch head is fitted with an impact bezel. This makes it possible to use the torch to break glass in emergency situations or for self-defence. Robust construction allows the torch to be used on long weapons, making it suitable for professionals, armed forces and hunting.
All torch specifications (light output, battery runtime, water resistance, beam distance and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.
Fenix PD36R PRO LED torch specifications: A powerful Luminus SFT-70 LED is used with a lifespan of 50,000 hours.
Six power modes: 2800 lumens (3.5 hours) → 1000 lumens (3.9 hours) → 350 lumens (8.25 hours) → 150 lumens (19 hours) → 30 lumens (42 hours) → strobe (strobe flashing with variable frequency).
Powered by a Li-ion rechargeable battery type 21700 (included in the packaging).
Runtime is measured with a rechargeable 21700 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 5000mAh. Patented intelligent overheat protection. The torch has memory and will always switch on in the last set mode (does not apply to strobe).
Dimensions 14.6 cm x 25.7 cm x 26.5 cm.
Weight 169 grammes including battery.
Made from aircraft-grade hardened aluminium A6061-T6.
Beam distance 380 metres (36,600 cd). Impact resistant to drops from a height of 1.5 metres.

Dual tactical switch at the end of the torch (momentary on/off function).
Solid clip for secure and simple torch carry (removable).

The torch comes with a Fenix ARB-L21-5000 rechargeable battery, USB-C charging cable, wrist cord, belt holster and spare O-ring.
The following optional accessories are available for purchase: AER-05 cable switch, ALG-00 quick-release rail mount, Fenix ALG-16 M-LOK mount, Fenix ALG-18 barrel mount, barrel mount, metal magnetic barrel mount, plastic magnetic barrel mount, torch-to-optics mount, metal optics mount, AOD-S V2.0 white diffuser, Fenix bicycle mount, FB-1 bicycle mount, ALP-10S holster.
Use
The torch may come with an insulating cover on the battery inside from the factory.
Remove it from the battery before first use.
To switch on/off, press the larger tactical button located at the end of the torch; to activate momentarily, hold the button.
By pressing the side mode switch button, you can switch between power modes at any time during operation.
To switch to strobe mode when the torch is on, hold the mode switch button for approximately 0.5 seconds.
To switch the torch on directly in strobe mode, press and hold the mode switch button.
Intelligent overheat protection – because the torch achieves enormous power of 2800 lumens, it experiences a temperature rise.
If the temperature exceeds 60°C, the power will automatically reduce.
Once the temperature drops below 60°C, you can use maximum power again.
Battery charge status indicator – the torch always indicates the battery charge status for three seconds after switching on.
Green indicates sufficient charge (100% – 85%), green flashing 85% – 50%, steady red light 50% – 25% and flashing red signals a critically depleted battery (25% or less). If the battery is depleted, the torch will gradually automatically switch to lower power modes; in the lowest mode it will then flash 3 times every five minutes.
Charging – flip open the rubber cover of the charging connector on the side of the torch and connect the supplied cable (USB-C connector); connect the other end of the cable to a computer, USB adapter to the mains or to a car.
During charging, the side indicator lights red.
When fully charged, it lights green.
Charging a fully depleted battery takes approximately 4 hours.
The torch cannot be used during charging.
Low battery warning – the torch will gradually automatically switch to the lowest mode.
Warning
Use only quality rechargeable batteries type 21700 with protective electronics.
Insert batteries with the positive pole facing the torch head.
If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them.
The rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion.
By following these rules, the torch will be properly protected against water.
If the torch flashes, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons: The battery is depleted – charge it or replace it. The contacts inside the torch are dirty – clean them with a cotton bud soaked in alcohol. The head, body or rear of the torch are loose – tighten them.
