The lightest Husky tent with a frame of its own. Husky Sawaj Camel 2 from the Ultralight range weighs 1.8 kg with all its accessories and packs down to just 40 × 12 cm. The frame is a single aluminium pole that branches into a Y at each end of the tent — that is where its stability and wind resistance come from. This free-standing double-wall tent gives two people a comfortable night.

A single Y-shaped pole instead of a crossed frame

The 8.5 mm aluminium Y pole replaces the classic crossed poles: there is only one, so the tent weighs less and goes up faster, and the branching at each end keeps the flysheet taut even in wind. Lightweight aluminium pegs anchor the tent in bad weather too. The package includes a repair kit, a storage pocket for small items and a compression bag.

Silicone-coated ripstop nylon on both sides

The 20D 360T ripstop nylon flysheet has silicone coating on both sides and a 3,000 mm H₂O water column. The silicone coating protects the fabric from moisture and UV light and allows the lowest possible fabric weight. The 20D ripstop nylon inner tent carries moisture away, and the 70D 210T nylon groundsheet with a polyurethane coating has a 10,000 mm H₂O water column.

Pros and cons of the Husky Sawaj Camel 2

✓ Pros: the lowest weight among Husky tents with a frame, quick pitching thanks to the single Y pole, a minimal packed size, silicone coating on both sides with UV protection, complete accessories in the package.

✗ Cons: the 140 cm width is tight for two adults, the 110 cm height does not let you stand up, a single pole leaves less margin in extreme wind than a crossed frame, and the thin fabrics need careful handling.
