Specification
On special tasks and on the training ground, there comes a moment when your dog pulls with full force – the collar must not give way, and you need something to grab your dog by. The K9 Thorn Cobra-Bravo 45 mm collar with handle has a handle you can use to hold your dog close at any time. It is made of 45 mm wide polyamide webbing, closes with a climbing-grade Cobra buckle, and you fine-tune the circumference with an Austrialpin adjuster.
One hand is enough to clip on
The lead attaches to a curved anodised aluminium V-ring with a strength of 20 kN. You can clip in any carabiner, including a Kong Frog, and your other hand stays free. Behind the Cobra buckle is the renowned Austrian company Austrialpin, whose buckles are known to high-alpine climbers and extreme sports enthusiasts. The buckle withstands 9 kN before breaking and 18 kN in a loop; its body is made of 7075 aluminium, the pins and clamping bar of stainless steel and the clamps of brass. The Austrialpin adjuster made of aircraft-grade aluminium has a strength of 15 kN.
Webbing that weather can't harm
Polyamide outlasts polyester, polypropylene and cotton webbing and ranks among the best in strength. Weather does not harm it, it keeps its colour, and with normal use it does not wear, fray or unravel. Because the webbing is stiff and thick, its ends are heat-sealed – the best finish for such a material.
