When your dog has to come to heel immediately in difficult terrain or during a special task, there is no time to reach for the lead. The K9 Thorn Cobra-Echo 38 mm collar with handle has a handle you can grab in one movement to hold your dog close to you. It is made of 38 mm wide polyamide webbing and closes with a climbing-grade Cobra buckle with a built-in D-ring – so you attach the lead directly to the buckle, which won't open by itself.
A fastening from high-alpine climbing
You will also find buckles of this type on high-alpine climbing and extreme sports gear – they are made by the renowned Austrian company Austrialpin. This buckle withstands 18 kN in a loop and 9 kN before breaking. The buckle body is made of 7075 aluminium, complemented by stainless steel pins and clamping bar together with brass clamps. You adjust the collar circumference with an Austrialpin adjuster made of aircraft-grade aluminium with a strength of 15 kN.
Webbing for all weathers
Weather does not harm the polyamide webbing and its colour lasts. In everyday wear it does not wear, the edges neither fray nor unravel, and even over time no threads stick out. Polyamide outlasts polyester, polypropylene and cotton webbing and ranks among the best in strength. The ends of the stiff, thick webbing are heat-sealed, which is the most suitable finish for such a material.
