On a mountain hike, in protection training and during rehabilitation, you need a harness in which you can secure your dog safely and carry it if necessary. The K9 Thorn One harness is ready for all three situations. Two attachment points will also help you when getting your dog used to great heights.
Relieving the hind legs during transport
At the sides of the harness there are D-rings for attaching straps that relieve the dog's hind limbs during transport. The straps under the hind paws for lifting training are not included – if you need them, you can buy them separately. The base is waterproof Cordura with the frame sewn onto it, and underneath there is spacer mesh that helps the dog breathe more easily and makes the harness more comfortable to wear.
Buckles, MOLLE and one important restriction
The harness fastens with Duraflex buckles; each of them only breaks at a force of 80 kg. Gear attaches to the MOLLE system, which has 3 slots in size M and 4 in size L. The polyamide straps cope with bad weather, do not lose their colour and do not fray or unravel with normal use. Warning: this harness is not designed for rope transport or parachute jumps – harnesses with Cobra buckles are intended for those purposes.
