In a meadow or while your dog calmly sniffs around, you want to give it some slack without letting it off the lead. The K9 Thorn 20 mm lead gives you 3 m of 20 mm wide webbing for exactly that. To stop it slipping out of your hand when your dog pulls harder, its end is fitted with an element the manufacturer calls a “brake”.

The end of the lead won't slip out of your hand

When your dog suddenly takes off on a longer lead, the webbing can easily slide through your palm all the way to the end. That is exactly where the “brake” is, preventing the lead from slipping out completely. At the same time, the three-metre length gives your dog enough room to move while you keep it under control.
