A strong dog can pull hard with a single lunge, and when working with a dog you feel such jolts in your wrist and shoulder. The K9 Thorn Kong Frog lead with shock absorber is a flexible professional lead that softens these jolts, so you stay comfortable and keep a firm hold on your dog. It connects to the collar with a Kong Frog carabiner with a strength of 25 kN.
A carabiner with a large safety margin
The Frog carabiner was designed by the Italian company KONG. It closes and releases intuitively and comfortably, and its strength of 25 kN is far above the forces acting on a dog lead. At the other end of the lead there is a comfortable handle for the handler.
Softer pull and shorter control
The 25 mm wide tubular polyamide webbing hides a long double shock absorber along its entire length, which absorbs part of the force when your dog suddenly lunges. Strong stitching holds reliably even with an exceptionally strong dog. Between the handle and the attachment strap there is an ITW Nexus buckle – when closed, it shortens the lead to 65 cm; when open, it extends it to 150 cm (M) or 272 cm (XL).
Warning: the ITW Nexus buckle is for shortening only. If you used it to attach the lead to a post or another object, the seam could be damaged.
