The knife is suitable for both right-handers and left-handers; simply move the pocket clip to the other side of the handle. BACK LOCK SAFETY This lock prevents accidental closure and unexpected opening of the knife in your pocket. The locking mechanism is designed to resist fine debris. The lock control element is located on the back of the handle. Because of this, it is less likely that you will leave your fingers under the blade when closing the knife. Safety during handling is a priority in the design. UPDATED AND MODERN MATERIALS This is not your grandfather's folding knife. It is equipped with a sharp blade made from hardened CRYO 5CR15MOV steel, which resists corrosion and staining. A durable and heavily textured nylon handle reinforced with glass provides a firm grip when wet and dry. A two-sided pocket clip allows you to carry it however you want. CRYO 5CR15MOV Steel CRYO 5CR15MOV is Chinese steel used for kitchen knives, folding knives, scissors and other tools. It typically achieves a hardness in the range of 55 to 58 HRC, which is desirable in working knives for easy sharpening. On its surface it creates an anti-corrosion passive oxide layer that prevents further oxidation. CRYO hardening ensures that it will hold an edge better, and its moderate toughness is ideal for users who like to sharpen their knives themselves. FINISH Knives are available in satin finish, polished blade or black Ti-Ni surface treatment. Titanium nitride or Ti-Ni is a coating on the blade surface that increases corrosion resistance and hardness. GRN GRN HANDLE is nylon reinforced with glass fibres. Glass fibres integrated into the nylon matrix significantly increase the strength and durability of the handle during demanding outdoor use. GRN handles have enormous resistance to moisture and minimal thermal expansion. Thanks to the GRN material, the knife is additionally incredibly lightweight.
