If you want to sleep outdoors all year round, a sleeping system that you can configure according to the weather is worthwhile. The MFH Patrol is the outer part of a modular sleeping system modelled on the US Army design. On its own it is rated to approx. -1 °C, and in combination with parts 31185 and 31195 down to -46 °C.

Modular system

Metal snap fasteners connect it to the other parts of the system, namely the Interm. inner sleeping bag and the sleeping bag cover. In summer use just the Patrol, and in winter add more layers.

Warmth around the head and shoulders

The hood-shaped head section and the shoulder area can be tightened with a drawcord so that heat doesn't escape. The two-way YKK side zip is covered by an additional draught baffle.
