In the field, a tool that can both chop and dig without taking up much space comes in handy. The compact MFH Comox tomahawk with a blackened finish has a plain-edge 3Cr13 steel axe head with the opposite side shaped as a digging spike. The ergonomic G10 scales sit well in the hand, and it comes with a polyester sheath with a belt loop.

Axe and pick in one

The edge is for chopping branches or splitting small wood, and the spike on the other side of the head serves as a pick. The scales made of durable G10 material grip well, and you can secure the tomahawk with a cord through the hole at the end of the handle.
