Tactical vest with belt from German manufacturer Mil-Tec
The base lower layer of the vest is formed by breathable mesh netting on which various pockets and the MOLLE system are firmly attached to the rear. The USMC vest is characterised by its versatility, robust construction and holster for a short weapon. What is the MOLLE system?
The MOLLE system is a webbing load-bearing attachment system that consists of horizontally positioned straps 1 inch (2.54 cm) wide with vertical spacing of 1 inch. The straps are sewn to the base fabric (for example on a vest or rucksack) at 1.5 inch (3.81 cm) intervals. This system was patented by the US armed forces in 1998. Today, the MOLLE system is the most widely used webbing attachment system throughout the world.
