When you need warmth but not bulk, a vest is the better answer than another jacket. The Pentagon Lynx builds on 3M® G60 insulation rated at 1.4 CLO, which warms like a far thicker layer while weighing almost nothing. The cut is deliberately slim, so the vest fits under a shell jacket or a plate carrier — and works just as well as a standalone outer piece from early autumn through to spring.

3M® G60 insulation

A 1.4 CLO rating means high-performance warmth at minimal weight. The vest's comfort zone is roughly 10 to 5 °C; in dry conditions it handles 0 to −5 °C as part of a layering system.

Layering without bulk

The slim cut is designed so the vest adds no bulk under an outer layer. The outer fabric resists wind and sheds moisture, while the breathable lining carries moisture away during active movement, so you do not overheat in it.

Pockets where you need them

Two zipped hand pockets earn their place in the cold, and the internal chest pocket has an earphone port so you are not running cable across the whole vest. Zippers are YKK® full-length and on the pockets.
