LIGHTWEIGHT AND COMPACT The handle is formed by two orange scales made of G10 material, which can be easily removed. A frame with a bare skeleton transforms the knife into a lighter, more efficient and more compact tool without reducing its strength and functionality. Our UMS sheath system allows many ways and places to attach the knife. PREMIUM S35VN MATERIAL A hollow ground blade is made from S35VN steel. This exceptional American steel is not only very strong and durable, but it is possible to achieve excellent sharpness of the blade and the blade then has a long service life. A very fine-grained powder steel with uniform microstructure offers very stable properties. It is resistant even with a very fine blade bevel, reliable, highly corrosion-resistant. It is a good choice for high-quality custom knives and tools. The CPM (powder metallurgy) process guarantees a very homogeneous, high-quality steel structure, dimensional stability, good sharpening and strength compared to steels produced by conventional methods. Despite lower chromium content, this steel exhibits very good corrosion resistance results. DURABLE BLADE Full tang construction guarantees maximum knife strength. The surface of the knife has a stonewash finish and the blade is then ground flat. Along the entire length of the blade spine there is binding. To improve support for the pressing finger, the spine is fitted with transverse grooves. The side of the blade is serrated in a regular pattern, which can also act as surface roughening to improve grip, but mainly it increases the blade area and makes it stronger. REMOVABLE G10 SCALES The Ether FX knife is equipped with removable orange scales on the handle made of G10. Thanks to the distinctive colour you can easily find the knife in your luggage or when you place it in grass, and when you remove the scales, you get an ultralight and compact knife with a solid blade. G-10 is a high-pressure laminate of glass fibres. It is created by layering multiple layers of glass fibres soaked in epoxy resin and pressing the resulting material under heat. UMS-COMPATIBLE Sheath The Kydex sheath is equipped with a universal mounting system. The sheath is designed for two-way mounting. Thanks to the sheath binding system, the sheath can be rotated 360° on one axis.
