Work trousers usually give themselves away after the first wash — they lose their shape. Vintage Industries Ackley is built on heavy cotton satin in high fabric density, which holds the line. The hammer loop and loose fit reveal the workwear origin, yet the trousers look clean enough for everyday wear. One pair for the workshop and for town.
Heavy satin
The satin weave gives the fabric a smooth, softly lustrous surface together with high density, so the material keeps its shape and resists abrasion. It feels kinder to the touch than coarse canvas, yet gives nothing away in durability.
